POOL TABLE ROOM SIZE
When your ready to purchase a pool table you must take into consideration what size pool table will fit comfortably into your game room. Most serious billiard players wouldn't purchase a table less than 9'. A simple rule is to simply add a minimum of 6" to the length of your pool cue» know what lengths your pool cues are:
⇒pool cue length + 6" or more=a comfortable stroke.
⇒Now take this measurement and ADD it to the width and length of your pool table playing area.(The tables playing area is the distance between the inside edge of one cushion to the inside edge of the opposite cushion).
